Family portraits

I know Carri quite well but I've never met her delightful family before. When she asked if I could take some informal pictures of her children I jumped at the chance. I packed my camera bag and popped over to their place in North London for the afternoon, taking a variety of candid photos throughout the afternoon. Carri had the foresight to get them to make some cakes which not only kept them amused but also meant they weren't so conscious of the camera. I have to say they were a pleasure to photograph and clearly got on with each other like a house on fire, which makes my job a lot easier I can tell you!

Goldstone Hall Hotel

Goldstone Hall is a beautiful hotel in Market Drayton, Shropshire. They recently commissioned us for three days to photograph the hotel with the specific brief to create a bank of images which would give their website a face-lift. We photographed everything from the deluxe rooms, the first class restaurant and the cosey bar to the hotel's exterior, the beautiful gardens and even the vegetable patch! If you're ever that neck of the woods we'd thoroughly recommend spending a night or two there as it's a sublime place to stay. And make sure you get to eat at the restaurant - Andrew, the young head chef, is a star in the making!

To view these photos in situ you can visit Goldstone Hall's website.

Portrait session (Jenny)

We thought Jenny was great. She arrived for her portrait session feeling a tad apprehensive and not really knowing what to expect but after a cuppa she soon relaxed and looked like she really enjoyed the whole affair. We really like these photos as they capture her personality perfectly. Hopefully she likes them too!

Party at the RAC Club, London

A few weekends ago, Nick and Gail had a joint 50th birthday party at the RAC Club in London and asked us to capture the special occasion. It's an impressive venue so it's always good to capture the ambience of the place as well as the guests. It's also a good idea to remember to wear a tie!
